850+ Collaborations Headline Another Landmark Year for Official League
PORTLAND, OREGON – This year, we are grateful for every community member and collaborator who helped shaped our vision. Across 850+ collaborations, we explored new identities, crafted new styles, and built pieces upon narratives to honor historic legacies. We are thankful for the trust, creativity, and energy that fuel everything we do, and we remain committed to translating culture into work that resonates, inspires, and endures.
The debut of the Local Legends series was one of our defining moments of 2025. Beginning with a 20 minute sell-out of Fall Out Boy x Iowa Cubs, the series paired iconic artists with their hometown teams in collaborations rooted in shared history and cultural memory. Spanning across the summer with new sold-out releases each month, the collection also included collaborations between The Killers x Las Vegas Aviators, Coheed and Cambria x Brooklyn Cyclones, The Gaslight Anthem x Jersey Shore BlueClaws. The inaugural series concluded with an in-stadium meet and greet with one of Jacksonville’s biggest musical exports Flipturn and the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp.
Another landmark series debuted with the first Diamond Vault collection release, a nine-piece exploration of baseball’s formative eras. Drawing from the stories that defined baseball’s early stages, the first release featured legendary clubs including the San Francisco Seals, Portland Beavers, Denver Bears, and Houston Buffs. The Diamond Vault series reintroduced these historic identities through a new lens, offering fans a tangible connection to the roots of the game while maintaining our high level of premium craftsmanship.
Music and place converged again through collaborations tied to two of the world’s most beloved venues, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and the Red Rocks Amphitheatre alongside Rainbow Kitten Surprise. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival Desert Cord emerged as one of the year’s standout releases, selling out on-site and becoming a lasting keepsake for those in attendance. For their performance at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, Rainbow Kitten Surprise partnered with Official League on a special, limited-edition baseball jersey, which sold out shortly after release in-venue.
Experimentation took shape next with the What If? 1986 series, which invited modern soccer clubs into an imagined past. Released monthly, each collaboration reinterpreted a club as if it had existed in 1986, drawing on era-specific typography, saturated color palettes, and custom logos pulled from a different moment in time. Monterey Bay FC, Sioux Falls City FC, Richmond Ivy, and Portland Bangers FC became artifacts of an alternate history, adding a playful, design-driven dimension to the year’s collections.
In the intersection of modern soccer and music, My Morning Jacket’s capsule collection with Racing Louisville FC and Louisville City FC stood apart for their cohesion and confidence. Cosmic imagery, deep purple tones, and premium embroidered details created a visual language that reflected both the band’s creative identity and the spirit of their hometown clubs. To commemorate the launch, My Morning Jacket attended LouCity’s home opener, where Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg presented My Morning Jacket with a ceremonial key to the city in recognition of the band’s cultural contributions and deep roots in the city. Fans also had the opportunity to meet the band, have pieces from the collection signed, and connect with the members whose music and presence have long been woven into the identity of Louisville.
The year continued with the ASCENT: Futures series, which shifted focus toward what comes next. Spotlighting five of baseball’s most promising young talents, Max Clark, Walker Jenkins, Bryce Eldridge, JJ Wetherholt, and Charlie Condon, the collection celebrated players at the beginning of their professional journeys licensed by MLB Players, Inc. Bold, city-inspired artwork and vibrant illustration transformed anticipation into wearable form, giving fans the opportunity to support the next generation before their Major League careers officially begin.
As we move forward into 2026, we carry the lessons, collaborations, and trust from this year with us, continuing to create with imagination, care, and a shared belief in the power of design rooted in culture. We can’t wait to continue to deliver the best in premium fan headwear and apparel into the new year and beyond with more one of a kind collaborations.
