When seeking to authentically represent the Antelope Valley, AV Alta FC turned to its supporters to better understand their connection to the region. What emerged was a shared pride in the High Desert’s stark landscape and the elements that have shaped the valley community. That collective sense of place became a guiding force throughout the design process.

This connection is reflected most clearly in the club crest, which directly influenced several details on the jacket. Centered within the crest are the “AV” letters, rendered in a typeface inspired by the Antelope Valley’s aviation and aerospace engineering legacy. The region is closely tied to the development and testing of advanced aircraft, including the B 2 Spirit bomber, whose angular, stealth driven design language informed the typography and structure of the crest. Above the mark sits the club name, with “Alta” symbolizing elevation, flight, and the High Desert itself through its Latin origins.

Additional details throughout the jacket serve as markers of AV Alta FC’s first season and club debut. The right sleeve “661” patch honors the Antelope Valley area code, while an embroidered 2025 patch above it marks the piece as an inaugural season outerwear specialty. Subtle “AV ALTA FC” stitched lettering below the back collar  and a hidden Joshua Tree emblem inside the jacket offer nods to the environment that inspired Alta’s identity.
