MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE — Official League is proud to unveil the latest release from our Local Legends collaboration series, bringing together Memphis country-punk mainstays Lucero and the Memphis Redbirds for a collection rooted in the city they both call home. Inspired by Lucero’s defining sound, the heritage of Memphis baseball, and the city’s independent spirit, the five-piece collection captures a hometown connection nearly three decades in the making.

Since forming in Memphis in 1998, Lucero has created music that could only come from this city. Across an expansive catalog, the band has brought together the raw energy of punk, the storytelling of country, and the soul that has shaped generations of Memphis music. No matter how far the road has taken them, Memphis has remained at the center of Lucero’s identity.

The Memphis Redbirds represent another side of that hometown story. As the city’s professional baseball club, the Redbirds have built a legacy that reaches across generations of Memphis fans. Together, Lucero and the Redbirds capture two enduring parts of the city’s culture through a collection shaped by music, baseball, and life on the road.

The Memphis Nights Satin draws from tour jackets, vintage varsity outerwear, and evenings beneath the lights at AutoZone Park. Lucero’s name and the Redbirds crest come together across the back, creating a band-exclusive piece built for both the stage and the ballpark. The jacket captures the late-night energy surrounding both sides of the collaboration and turns it into the centerpiece of the collection.

The Memphis Original Jersey imagines Lucero within the traditions of Redbirds baseball. The club crest and classic uniform construction establish the piece as a Memphis baseball jersey, while oversized Lucero lettering and a music-note-inspired Memphis mark transform the back into a tribute to the band’s hometown history. Together, the details create a jersey representing two Memphis legacies that began in the same city and the same year.

The Famous Cord gives the collaboration the feeling of a piece pulled from an earlier era of Memphis baseball. The 100% premium corduroy construction, custom “Famous” treatment, and gold detailing bring a vintage character to the crown. The Memphis Driver places Lucero’s script on a silhouette inspired by the band’s years on the road while remaining grounded in classic baseball headwear. A Redbirds crest on the side and a custom Memphis patch at the back connect Lucero’s touring history with the city that has always remained home.

The Cardinal Tee brings the worlds of concert merchandise and Memphis baseball together through an original collaborative design. Lucero’s script is paired with an illustrated cardinal on the back, reworking the Redbirds’ identity through the visual language of a classic band tee. A smaller club crest at the chest completes a piece made for both a night at a Lucero show and a night at the ballpark.

Lucero x Memphis Redbirds continues Official League’s Local Legends series by bringing artists and hometown clubs together through the communities that shaped them.
