HAVANA, CUBA - Official League has announced the third installment of the Diamond Vault Series, going international for the first time ever. The series returned earlier this year with the LA / NY Collection Pack featuring the Hollywood Stars and Queens Kings. Now, Diamond Vault continues with Series 3, set to release March 11th, 2026.

Diamond Vault Series 3 will spotlight the Havana Sugar Kings, one of the most distinctive franchises in minor league baseball history. This marks the club’s debut in the Diamond Vault series and expands the growing archive of teams being preserved through Official League’s limited-edition collections.

The Havana Sugar Kings took the field in 1946 as a member of the International League and quickly became one of the most celebrated clubs in Caribbean baseball. Playing in Havana at the historic Gran Stadium, the team served as a cultural bridge between Cuban baseball and the American minor league system. The Sugar Kings reached their peak in 1959 when they captured the Junior World Series, a moment that cemented their place in baseball history.

Political tensions between Cuba and the United States soon brought the era to an abrupt close. In 1960, the franchise was relocated midseason to Jersey City, ending professional affiliated baseball in Havana. Despite the short window of existence, the Sugar Kings remain one of the most iconic international clubs to ever play in the minor leagues and a symbol of the longstanding connection between Cuban culture and the game of baseball.
