Two models wearing Sixth Street Bridge Cord and Pinstripe Natural

Official League Releases Debut Headwear Collection with Pittsburgh Penguins

PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA — Official League has released its first headwear collection made in collaboration with the Pittsburgh Penguins. The debut introduces Sixth Street Bridge Cord and Pinstripe Natural, two designs that bring together Pittsburgh’s city landmarks and the enduring identity of one of hockey’s most storied franchises.

Sixth Street Bridge Cord takes its inspiration from the bridges that shape the experience of arriving in Pittsburgh. As the rivers open up and the skyline comes into view, those crossings become part of the memory of a trip into the city. For fans making their way to a game, they can be an early glimpse of Pittsburgh’s character, whether they are visiting for the first time or following a familiar route from home.

A day at PNC Park, an afternoon at Acrisure Stadium, and a night at PPG Paints Arena each have their own approach and routines. The bridges connect those experiences to the wider city, bringing people toward the places where they gather. Official League wanted to carry that sense of welcome into the collection.

The Sixth Street Bridge, also known today as the Roberto Clemente Bridge, spans the Allegheny River between downtown and the North Shore. Completed in 1928, it is one of the Three Sisters, alongside the neighboring bridges at Seventh and Ninth streets. Its place in Pittsburgh’s game-day landscape is particularly visible on the approach to PNC Park, but its significance reaches beyond any one team. It is part of how the city recognizes itself.

For Official League, that made the bridge a meaningful starting point for a Penguins design. There is something welcoming about the structure, both in its familiar gold outline and in what it allows people to do. It carries them across the water, toward a game, a neighborhood, or someone waiting on the other side. Bringing it into the collection connects the Penguins to that broader experience of Pittsburgh.

On Sixth Street Bridge Cord, the outline continues around the crown in a 360-degree design. The Penguins crest sits at the front, while the bridge extends along the sides and around the back. It is a detail that becomes clearer as the hat turns, giving the structure a continuity that a single front graphic would not have. The 100% premium corduroy base adds texture beneath the gold lines, and the rope above the brim follows their horizontal movement.

Official League also wanted to introduce a timeless design as part of this collection. The gold pinstripes and contrasting gold brim give Pinstripe Natural its two-tone character, with the Penguins crest centered on the crown. Made from 100% premium cotton, it pairs a vintage hockey feel with a classic style built for everyday wear.

This limited-edition collection marks Official League’s first collection with the Pittsburgh Penguins and its first NHL collaboration of the 2026–27 season.

Both hats in the debut Official League x Pittsburgh Penguins collection are limited edition and available for a limited time at PPG Paints Arena and online through PensGear.
