The Local Legends Baseball brings the entire collaboration onto the most timeless object in sport, pairing classic red stitching with Caamp’s script and the Clippers’ wordmark. The collaboration design captures the larger story behind the collection, bringing together a band with deep Columbus-area roots and the city’s Triple-A ballclub through the culture and hometown pride they share. Whether displayed beside a favorite Caamp record or brought to Huntington Park, the ball serves as a lasting collectible from a Local Legends release built entirely around Columbus.
Caamp is a Columbus-rooted indie folk band founded by childhood friends Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall, who grew up together in a Columbus suburb before beginning to write and perform music together in 2012. The Columbus Clippers are a Triple-A baseball club established in 1977, the top affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians since 2009, and longtime representatives of the city who have called Huntington Park home since it opened that same year.
