Caamp began with Ohio childhood friends Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall, whose voices, acoustic guitar, and banjo formed the heart of their self-titled 2016 debut. Songs such as “Vagabond” helped introduce a sound that feels intimate even as the band’s arrangements and audiences have grown. Across records including By and By and Lavender Days, Caamp bring close harmonies and a warm, lived-in feel to songs about home, change, and finding your way.
The Local Legends Baseball brings the entire collaboration onto the most timeless object in sport, pairing classic red stitching with Caamp’s script and the Clippers’ wordmark. The collaboration design captures the larger story behind the collection, bringing together a band with deep Columbus-area roots and the city’s Triple-A ballclub through the culture and hometown pride they share.
