Flatspot Records

Flatspot Records began in 2004 and became a home for artists working across hardcore and heavy music. Its catalog connects releases by bands such as Trapped Under Ice and Backtrack with a newer wave that includes Scowl, Zulu, and Speed. The label’s Extermination compilations and the relationships among its artists reflect a larger purpose: documenting a scene while helping new bands find the listeners who will carry it forward.
