Gully Boys

Gully Boys began in Minneapolis, where friendships formed around a thrift shop led to a band whose members learned their instruments as they went. That do-it-yourself beginning remains part of the appeal: direct lyrics, distorted guitars, and a sense that making something together matters as much as getting it polished. Songs such as “Neopet Graveyard” and “New Song No. 2” bring melody and raw emotion into the same space.
