Few teams carried the personality and flair of the Havana Sugar Kings, and this cap draws directly from the club’s on-field look. Made from 100% premium cotton, the white crown features red pinstripes modeled after the same pattern worn on the Sugar Kings’ home uniforms in Havana. This limited-edition design is complete with the iconic sugar sack side patch and adjustable wool backstrap.
The Havana Sugar Kings were one of the International League’s most distinctive franchises, bringing Triple-A baseball to Cuba from 1954 to 1960. Playing at Estadio del Cerro, the club drew passionate crowds and showcased top Cuban and Latin American talent on one of baseball’s biggest minor league stages. Backed by legendary scout Joe Cambria, the Sugar Kings reached their peak with an International League championship in 1959 before political upheaval following the Cuban Revolution forced the franchise to relocate the following season. Their brief run left a lasting mark on Caribbean and Minor League Baseball history.
