Rainbow Kitten Surprise combines close vocal harmonies, restless rhythms, and Ela Melo’s expressive lead voice in songs that move easily between intimacy and release. The band built its audience through records including Seven + Mary and How to: Friend, Love, Freefall, with “It’s Called: Freefall” becoming a signature song. Their music often finds its power in contrast, pairing difficult emotions with melodies and live performances that bring people together.
