Crafted for the Warren Haynes x Asheville City SC, the Peace Poppy brings together the two Asheville icons.. The front features Haynes’ iconic multicolored peace signs, a longtime staple of his merchandise, reimagined with the addition of a soccer ball to celebrate Asheville’s growing soccer culture. Set beneath the design is Asheville rendered in white script, while the club crest appears on both sides to unite two of the city’s most recognizable communities. Above the adjustable backstrap sits the phrase “The Blues Are The Roots,” a play on Asheville City SC’s nickname, The Blues, and a tribute to legendary blues musician Willie Dixon, whose famous quote helped shape Haynes’ musical philosophy.

Warren Haynes is an American musician, singer, and songwriter from Asheville, North Carolina. A longtime guitarist with the Allman Brothers Band and founding member of Gov’t Mule, Warren Haynes blends Southern rock, blues, and soul music into a sound that has influenced generations of musicians. Founded in 2016, Asheville City Soccer Club is based in Asheville, North Carolina as part of the USL League Two.
