Fall Out Boy × Iowa Cubs
Heaven, Iowa. At the ballpark.
The first Local Legends release brings Fall Out Boy and the Iowa Cubs together through music references, baseball silhouettes, and a shared collection.
The beginning of Local Legends.
Local Legends began with a simple connection: music and baseball both give people something to belong to. The series brings artists and clubs together in capsule collections shaped by those overlapping communities.
Fall Out Boy × Iowa Cubs opened the series in April 2025. The collaboration paired the band’s love for the Cubbies with references to its records, bringing the “Heaven, Iowa” title into a collection designed for the ballpark.
It also established the approach for the releases that followed. The artist’s identity is worked into the clothing itself, alongside the team’s, so the finished pieces can speak to music fans and baseball fans at the same time.

A record meets a baseball uniform.
The collection spans three pieces: a satin jacket, a jersey, and a Poppy hat. Each gives the collaboration a different way to show its connection to Iowa baseball and Fall Out Boy.
On the satin jacket, “Heaven Iowa” turns the song reference into prominent chest lettering. The jersey uses blue and red pinstripes, with the band’s name and 01 across the back. Familiar baseball details give the music references a natural home.
Together, the three silhouettes introduced Local Legends as a collection built around a shared story, with enough variety for fans to choose how they wear it.
