Two eras. One jacket.

The Whalers Heritage Reversible Satin connects Hartford’s past and Carolina’s present, with a different chapter on each side.

A legacy that travels.

A team’s history does not stop at a change of city or name. When the Hartford Whalers relocated to North Carolina in 1997 and became the Carolina Hurricanes, the franchise carried a history that fans still recognize today.

The Whalers Heritage Reversible Satin was designed to honor that enduring connection. Created for Whalers Night on January 29, the limited-edition jacket brings two identities into a single piece, giving each one its own side.

That reversible construction is central to the story. Hartford is given space to stand on its own, while the Hurricanes side connects the jacket to the team’s life in Carolina. Turning it inside out changes the look without leaving the franchise’s history behind.

The reverse is part of the story.

Made with 100% premium satin, the jacket uses finish and texture to distinguish the two eras. The Hurricanes side has a classic satin finish. On the reverse, a quilted pattern adds depth to the Whalers tribute.

The green Whalers side makes the connection visible through its lettering and contrasting rib trim. The two-sided design allows the wearer to choose an identity without treating the other as an afterthought. It is a piece built around the relationship between the two.
