This limited-edition baseball condenses the full collection into one display piece. Red and navy panels carry The Head and the Heart’s hand-drawn lettering, Tacoma’s Rainiers script and the collaboration’s original character, while an evergreen illustration connects the design to the wider Pacific Northwest setting. Contrasting stitching follows the two-tone construction and gives each panel its own visual rhythm. Rather than treating the ball as a simple souvenir, the artwork wraps the collaboration around the object, bringing the band, the club and the landscape they share into a single Local Legends collectible.
The Head and the Heart are a Seattle-rooted indie folk band formed in 2009, whose story began in open-mic performances at Ballard’s Conor Byrne Pub before their self-titled debut became a breakthrough release through hometown label Sub Pop. The Tacoma Rainiers are a Pacific Coast League team established in 1960, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners since 1995, and the longtime residents of Cheney Stadium.
