[ The Head and the Heart x Tacoma Rainiers ] Evergreen Cord

The Northwest Cord brings the collection’s most expressive artwork to Official League’s premium corduroy silhouette. The front features the original illustrated character in a Tacoma “R” cap, creating a new emblem that sits between a band mascot and a vintage baseball mark. A small embroidered evergreen rises from the side panel, grounding the design in the forests and mountain landscapes shared across the Puget Sound region. The deep navy premium corduroy gives the hat a rich, textured finish suited to the collection’s natural Pacific Northwest palette. The back adds The Head and the Heart’s name in red embroidery, while the adjustable closure keeps the construction rooted in classic baseball headwear.

The Head and the Heart are a Seattle-rooted indie folk band formed in 2009, whose story began in open-mic performances at Ballard’s Conor Byrne Pub before their self-titled debut became a breakthrough release through hometown label Sub Pop. The Tacoma Rainiers are a Pacific Coast League team established in 1960, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners since 1995, and the longtime residents of Cheney Stadium.
