The Heart Wooly pairs traditional baseball materials with a graphic built specifically for this collaboration. The gray wool crown is set against a navy brim and finished at the front with a red heart carrying Tacoma’s script “R,” bringing the collection’s central music-and-baseball symbol into a timeless cap shape. The side panels deepen the local story through embroidered details, including The Head and the Heart’s stacked wordmark and Rainiers-inspired artwork. An adjustable leather strap completes the vintage construction, giving the piece the feel of an archival Pacific Coast League cap reimagined through the band’s visual world.

The Head and the Heart are a Seattle-rooted indie folk band formed in 2009, whose story began in open-mic performances at Ballard’s Conor Byrne Pub before their self-titled debut became a breakthrough release through hometown label Sub Pop. The Tacoma Rainiers are a Pacific Coast League team established in 1960, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners since 1995, and the longtime residents of Cheney Stadium.
