[ The Head and the Heart x Tacoma Rainiers ] PNW Coach Jacket

Built around the shared visual language of Pacific Northwest music and baseball, this coach jacket places the collection’s original character at the center of a classic ballpark silhouette. The illustrated figure wears Tacoma’s script “R” cap, turning a familiar Rainiers mark into a hand-drawn piece of band artwork. Set at the left chest, the character gives the jacket the feeling of a touring crew piece crossed with a vintage team jacket. The navy snap-front shell is finished with elastic cuffs, a drawcord hem and a vivid red interior. The back carries The Head and the Heart’s name in oversized red lettering, creating a strong concert-merch finish while keeping the front rooted in Tacoma baseball. A woven Official League label completes the piece near the hem.

The Head and the Heart are a Seattle-rooted indie folk band formed in 2009, whose story began in open-mic performances at Ballard’s Conor Byrne Pub before their self-titled debut became a breakthrough release through hometown label Sub Pop. The Tacoma Rainiers are a Pacific Coast League team established in 1960, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners since 1995, and the longtime residents of Cheney Stadium.
