The left sleeve features the club symbol alongside Warren Haynes’ iconic peace sign, while the right sleeve showcases the phrase “The Blues Are The Roots.” Inspired by Asheville City SC’s nickname, The Blues, the phrase also pays tribute to blues legend Willie Dixon, whose famous quote helped shape Haynes’ musical perspective. Warren Haynes is an American musician, singer, and songwriter from Asheville, North Carolina. A longtime guitarist with the Allman Brothers Band and founding member of Gov’t Mule, Warren Haynes blends Southern rock, blues, and soul music into a sound that has influenced generations of musicians. Founded in 2016, Asheville City Soccer Club is based in Asheville, North Carolina as part of the USL League Two.
