Crafted by Official League, this limited-edition cord centers on the Canes’ Black Excellence Rose, a design rooted in art, history, and the stories celebrated throughout Black History Month.

The Black Excellence Rose is fully stitched into one of our most well-known hat silhouettes, The Cord. Crafted from 100% premium corduroy, The Cord is a silhouette rooted in classic headwear, drawing from the corduroy hats popularized in workwear and sport throughout the mid-to-late 20th century, now reintroduced as a modern staple through renewed cultural relevance. A red textured rope runs along the bill to each side stitched with the stick flag and wordmark of the Canes.

This release marks the second Carolina Hurricanes collaboration with Official League this year, continuing a shared focus on storytelling through new, limited-edition design.
