Official League's Diamond Vault Series Expands With The Hollywood Stars And Queens Kings

HOLLYWOOD, CA / QUEENS, NY – Official League is proud to debut The Diamond Vault Series 2, featuring the LA / NY Collection Pack and welcoming two new clubs into the growing archive: the Hollywood Stars and the Queens Kings. With each Diamond Vault release, our team looks to preserve chapters of baseball history that shaped their cities through limited-edition headwear and apparel releases. Series 2 continues that mission, spotlighting two teams that influenced distinct cultural eras on opposite coasts.

Paired together to honor two of the largest baseball markets in the world, the LA / NY Collection Pack reflects the scale and cultural weight of both cities. For this release, both clubs are presented in our High Pro silhouette, a structured, high-profile crown that mirrors the bold identities each team carried in its era. The elevated shape allows historic typography to stand with presence, reinforcing the mark each franchise made in its time.

The Hollywood Stars were one of the Pacific Coast League’s defining franchises, calling Los Angeles home from the 1920s through the 1950s. Playing at  the legendary Gilmore Field, the Stars drew major league sized crowds often and featured future Hall of Famers while capturing multiple championships. The Stars helped establish Los Angeles as a premier baseball destination as Major League Baseball looked West. The Stars moved back to their secondary home of Salt Lake City to become the Bees following the Brooklyn Dodgers much-anticipated move to Los Angeles in 1957.

The Gilmore High Pro pays tribute to the Stars' lasting legacy in Hollywood and the iconic Gilmore Field. Constructed from 100% premium cotton, the cap features an embroidered alternate Hollywood Stars crest at the front and a woven “Gilmore Field” side patch that connects this High Pro design to the historic ballpark located between Genesee Avenue and The Grove Drive.

On the East Coast, the Queens Kings represented a bold chapter in New York’s minor league lineage at the turn of the millennium. The Kings were one of the first minor league teams to embrace a bold team identity including their playful name. After just one year, the franchise relocated and brought baseball back to Brooklyn as the Brooklyn Cyclones, closing the book on the Queens Kings’ short existence. Though their time was limited, the club who had an identity ahead of its time remains a unique footnote in Queens’ layered baseball history.

The Queens Kings High Pro honors that era with a design rooted in confidence and locality. Built from 100% premium cotton, the hat showcases an embroidered “Queens” script crowned at the “Q,” alongside a stitched secondary side Queen batting mark. The High Pro style results in a piece that channels the swagger of a brief chapter of New York baseball history.

The Hollywood Stars and Queens Kings join The Diamond Vault collection as two of six teams to be included in the series. Series One featured a variety of historic clubs from coast to coast, including the San Francisco Seals, Houston Buffs, Denver Bears, and Portland Beavers. These teams continue to establish the foundation of an archive dedicated to preserving them, their competitors, and eras that shaped the game in communities across the globe.
