The Grand Rapids Griffins began playing in 1996 and joined the American Hockey League in 2001, calling Van Andel Arena in downtown Grand Rapids home. As the Detroit Red Wings’ top affiliate, they have helped develop players including Dylan Larkin and Moritz Seider, with Calder Cup championships in 2013 and 2017 marking their own milestones. Our Black Ice cap brings the Griffins’ identity into a clean, dark design for West Michigan hockey fans.
