Warren Haynes is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter from Asheville, North Carolina, whose career connects several generations of American roots music. His work with the Allman Brothers Band and as a founder of Gov’t Mule made his expressive guitar playing and soulful vocals familiar to audiences around the world. His solo recordings and long-running Christmas Jam benefit concerts reveal the same instinct: bringing musicians together and leaving room for a song to grow onstage.
