An earlier chapter of South Florida baseball. The Miami Beach Flamingos played across several eras of the 1940s and 1950s. Their Diamond Vault release revisits the club’s historic artwork on the ’54 Legacy Natural.
The Flamingos belong to Miami Beach’s early professional baseball history. Their record includes the Florida East Coast League in 1941 and 1942, followed by Florida International League seasons from 1946 through 1952 and again in 1954. They won a league championship in 1941.
The club’s identity offers a different view of South Florida baseball, away from today’s major league teams and spring training crowds. The Diamond Vault’s ’54 Legacy Natural returns to that earlier visual world, preserving a Miami Beach name that deserves to remain part of the conversation.
